The Tiruvannamalai Arunachaleswarar temple will be open for prayers and points for the devotees from Aug 1 says sources. There are chances that the temple will be open soon with the temple authorities preparing for the open.
Due to the lockdown against the pandemic coronavirus, the temple has closed the doors for the devotees since 20 March. However, the regular poojas and the Aarukaala poojas are conducted by the Archagars.
The temple authorities have started the work to organize the people in the queue with social distancing and for the proper arrangements for managing the crowd near the sanctum. With these arrangements being made, the temple shall be expected to be open for devotees from 1 August.
