Tirupattur in TN to have a new medical college

Officials belonging to the district of Tirupattur have now got a clue about the location of the next medical college. They are feeling happy now.
On Thursday, the officials had a meeting with the CM of Tamil Nadu Mr. E. Palaniswami. It is now said that the top state officials who were present in the meeting have indicated that Tirupattur district might be chosen as the location for the next medical college in TN.
Truth is Tirupattur hospital conducted around 500 deliveries every month in the pandemic and by this the hospital has created a record.
It is worth recalling that some months back a top official delivered her baby in the Tirupattur hospital and grabbed the attention. Truth is many local people have come to this hospital in recent times. Soon, this Tiruppatur hospital would have a maternity and child health block constructed at Rs 18 crores and work is going on.
The officials here have also requested CM for a SIPCOT complex. The chief minister of TN immediately gave orders for conducting a survey of the land for this SIPCOT project. In the future, Natrampalli in Tirupattur district might have this SIPCOT complex as the officials have identified 1250 acres of lands.
Information is now this place has got many leather industries and it is now mentioned that when the SIPCOT complex starts functioning the place would have many engineering industries. The Tirupattur district collector Mr. Sivan Arul was of the view that the engineering industries would generate additional jobs.
