Coronavirus infection pandemic has made many people inactive now as many work from home.

For the body to be healthy, it is necessary that we must have some kind of physical activity. Truth is that even those who were active are now finding it tough in the Coronavirus pandemic situation.

It is believed that the sedentary lifestyle could affect us in various ways like

Weight gain:
This is one of the most common issues associated with sedentary lifestyle. Fact here is just increase in few kilos due to cosmetic reasons might not cause any harm for us. It is the excess weight gain or over weight that could lead to health issues like high BP, diabetes etc.

Loss of flexibility:
We could lose our flexibility by for sitting more periods of time. By this, the persons are more prone for muscle injuries. Muscles might become weaker and it would be tough for the person in the longer run.

Osteoporosis risk:
Our bones become weak and we could get fractures. This is osteoporosis condition. Older people and mostly women after menopause face this issue. The risk of getting this issue is high due to sedentary lifestyle.

Metabolism slows down:
The rate at which our body burns the food we consume for energy is called as metabolism. Metabolism slows down when we do not move and his is due to the fact that the body gets indication that we do not need energy. The process of digestion gets slowed down and it could lead to stomach issues etc.
