Online booking for Darshan in Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple !

Arrangements have been for online reservation for the Darshan at the famous Madurai Meenakshi Temple, Further, free ‘laddus’ are being distributed to the devotees from today (Friday, 4th September).
With the prevailing lockdown imposition as a preventive measure against the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic, this famous Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple remained closed for the past 5 months. The temple was reopened yesterday (Thursday, 3rd September) with some restrictions.The devotees entered the main temple via the Amman Sannadhi Ashtasakthi Mandapam had Darshan of the Goddess and returned via the same route.
As the number of devotees entering the temple has been increasing steadily, it has been informed that from today (Friday, 4th September) the devotees having Darshan on payment basis will have to enter via the South Temple Tower and have Darshan of the Lord and the Goddess and exit via the Ashtasakthi Mandapam.
It is further informed that online registration can be done for both paid Darshan and the free Darshan.
