Chennai University has announced that that the students who write the final semester examination online at their residences can take a print of the answer-sheets a send the same by Speedpost.
The guidelines are given to the students by the Chennai University in this regard:
The final semester examination will be conducted for the graduate and postgraduate students and the students who have kept arrears in their final examinations
To conduct the above examination, the college must appoint as a monitoring authority. He will inform the students about the details regarding the examinations through SMS, WhatsApp, etc.
The duration of the examination is 90 minutes. The question paper will be identical to the previous semester question paper.
2 stages
The online examination will be conducted in 2 stages: 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM in the Forenoon and from 2.00 PM to 3.30 PM in the afternoon.
The question paper will be sent to the students 30 minutes before the start of the examination. After downloading the same, the students have to inform the monitoring authority.
The students have to finish writing the examination in A4 sheets not exceeding 18 sheets.
In each A4 sheet, the details of the registration number, subject code, page number and students signature must be entered.
Prior to this final semester examination, model examinations will be conducted for the students from Wednesday (16th September) until 18th September.
Students MUST^ participate in these model examinations. In case the students do not have the internet facility to download the question paper and upload the answer-sheets, the students must inform the college principal, Chief Supervisor, and the Monitoring Official.
Students must use either blue or back pens. Once completing the examination, the answer-sheets must be uploaded in proper order. Students who cannot upload have to send the answer-sheets by Speedpost to reach the College Principal. After sending, this must be informed to the monitoring official. The answer-sheets are to be corrected the very next day after the examinations!
It must be emphasised to the college principals to organise correction of answer-sheets by senior and experienced professors to correct the answer-sheets. It has been informed that the marks must be registered using ERS.
Anna University:
It has been announced that Anna University will also organise online tests for 1 hour,
Accordingly, every day, the examinations will be conducted in 4 phases: 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM, 12.00 Noon to 1.00 PM, 2.00 PM to 3.00 PM, and 4.00 PM to 5.00 PM.
Mode examinations are scheduled to be conducted 19th & 20th September. The students who did not participate in the above model examinations will be allowed to participate in the mode examination scheduled on 21st September.
Out of the 40 questions asked in the question paper, at least 30 questions are to be answered. The questions will be in multiple-choice mode!
Anna University has informed that the Login ID and a password will be sent to the email addresses of the students by the Examination Regulatory Office.
