The world-famous tourist spot Taj Mahal (Agra, India), which remained closed for 6 months due to the raging coronavirus pandemic, is being reopened today (Monday, 21st September) for the tourists!
Following the gradual relaxations which were being announced with each subsequent lockdown extension, with the strict conditions to follow the guidelines given by the central government on the Corona prevention, 5000 visitors are allowed per day to enter the Taj Mahal and 2500 visitors are allowed per day to enter the Agra Fort.
Only the tourist guides with licences are allowed to guide the tourists. It is further announced that the Taj ||Mahal will remain closed to the public on all Fridays and Sundays and the Agra Fort will remain closed on all Sundays!
