A 25% RESERVATION QUOTA OF SEATS ARE MADE AVAILABLE IN ALL PRIVATE SCHOOLS EVERY YEAR UNDER THE COMPULSORY RIGHT TO EDUCATION ACT FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD SECTIONS OF THE SOCIETY AND THE CHILDREN DENIED PROSPECTS.
In this regard, there are 116000 seats are available in the state of Tamil Nadu in the private schools. The 1st Phase of admission for the current academic year is already completed.
Subsequently, the Tamil Nadu State Gove3rnment Department of School Education has released the notification yesterday (Tuesday, 6th October) regarding the admission in private schools for the balance available seats..
The Government Order released in this regard by the Chief Secretary of the Department of School Education Dheerajkumar mentions:
“Parents of the children can apply online from 12th October for the 2nd Phase of admission for the balance seats available in the private schools from 12th October until 7th November.
The School Administration must display the details of how many applied, how many qualified, etc., on their respective Notice Boards as well as upload on the official website of the TN STATE Government Department of School Education.
Subsequently, the students will be selected until 12th November. The list of students being admitted must also be displayed as mentioned above.
Once the admission process is completed, a written communication must be sent to the concerned official of the Department of Education before 15th November.”
