Change in the departure time of Tejas Express from Chennai!

The Southern Railway administration has announced a change in the departure time of the Tejas Express from Chennai Metro City to Madurai.
Tejas Express started from Chennai Egmore Railway Station to Madurai at 6.00 AM on all weekdays except Thursdays and reaches Madurai by 12.20 PM.
As the train is set to start at the slightly early morning hours of 6.00 AM, the passengers residing in suburban areas find it rather difficult to catch the train having to arrive at the Egmore Railway Station quite early in the morning!
Hence, these passengers had appealed to the Railways to change the departure timings.
In response, the Railway administration has accepted this appeal and now the departure time of the Tejas Express from Chennai to Madurai has been changed!
According to this change, Tejas Express would now depart at 6.30 AM instead of the earlier 6.00 AM and will reach Madurai by 12.50 PM.
The departure time for this train from Trichy has also been changed to 10.35 AM and from Kodaikanal Road at 11.55 AM.
Southern Railway has further announced that THERE IS NO CHANGE IN THE TIMINGS OF THE RETURN ROUTES.
