An announcement has been released for the recruitment of 8000 teachers in 137 Army Schools operating throughout the country.

Post: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Primary Teacher (PRT)

Academic qualifications: For PGT, candidates MUST have passed Postgraduation in any faculty and also completed B. Ed. For TGT & PRT, candidates must have completed a graduate course in any faculty.
Apart from the above academic requirements, the candidates must have also passed CET and TET. However, candidates who have failed in CET or TET may also apply! Preference will be accorded to the candidates who pass the written examination.
Age Limit: The candidates with less than 5 years experience must be below 40 years of age and candidates with more than 5 years experience must be under 57 years of age.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in the written examination and the interview. The written examinations are scheduled to be conducted in all the major cities throughout the country on 21st and 22nd November.
Examination Fee: Rs. 500. This can be paid online.
The Hall-tickets for the written examination will be uploaded on the website on 4th November.
The results of the written examination will be released on 2nd December.
