Traders and students permitted to travel in suburban trains!

Southern Railways have announced that the students will be permitted to travel in the suburban trains. Sports specialists, candidates attending an interview, and traders will also be permitted to travel in the suburban trains.
It has been announced this would be effective from tomorrow (Monday, 23rd November).
Due to the raging coronavirus pandemic spread, and the subsequent imposition of lockdown throughout the country as a preventive measure against this spread, the suburban train services had been cancelled in the Chennai Metro City.
After a long gap, the central and state government employees on essential duties were allowed to travel in the suburban electric trains.
After some more days, the employees/staff working in the government and private sector serving in the health and cleaning departments, the staff who handle services of essential items, the employees working in the academic institutions were also allowed to travel in the Chennai suburban electric trains.
Further permission to travel in the Chennai Metro City suburban electric trains was granted to the employees/staff of the private security companies/agencies, employees in the printing and broadcasting/telecasting organisations, and the employees working in the freight/transport agencies for goods and passenger movement was also allowed to travel in the Chennai |Metro City suburban electric trains.
Meanwhile, the central minister Piyush Goel had announced that the women will be permitted to travel in the Chennai Metro City suburban electric trains.
Subsequently, presently, it has been announced by the Railways Department, that the students, sportsmen, candidates attending job interviews and traders will also be permitted to travel in the Chennai Metro City suburban electric trains. This latest announcement will be effective from tomorrow (Monday, 23rd November).
The Railways Department has also insisted THAT ALL THE PASSENGERS MUST COME WITH THE REQUISITE DOCUMENTS/CERTIFICATES FOR PROOF.
