A Time extension is given for regularizing the purchase/ownership of plots or plot sections!

A time extension has been granted until 28th February for the regularisation of ownership of plots/plots sections in the State of Tamil Nadu.
In a notification released in this regard on Monday (25th January) by the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Housing and Urban Growth T. Karthikeyan mentioned:
“There may be plots which were bought on 20th October 2016 or before which may not have regularized on the registry. Time extension has already been given once to regularise the above.
Meanwhile, the Member Secretary of the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) and the Director of the Department of Urban Development had written a letter to the State Government of Tamil Nadu appealing to grant some time extension regarding the regularization of the ownership of plots/plot-sections.
This appeal has been giv3en due consideration and accordingly, time extension has been granted for the regularization of the ownership of pots/plots-section until 28th February.”
