Tamil Nadu State Governments Jackpot announcement for its employees!

As per the recent Tamil Nadu State Government Order released by the Secretary of the State Government Department of Housing Development Karthikeyan, a loan/an advance would be offered by the Tamil Nadu State Government for the employees including the IAS/IPS cadre officers of All India Services and the State Government Employees for constructing a house or buying an existing house. For this, the applicants interested in availing this loan, they must get the approval from the District Collector. Subsequently, the Housing Department of the Tamil Nadu State Government will process and disperse the loan applied for.
This facility was revised last by the State Government of Tamil Nadu in the year 2012. Accordingly, a maximum loan of Rs. 40 Lakhs for the IAS/IPS cadre and a maximum loan of Rs. 25 Lakhs were fixed for the State Government Employees (Officers).
However, no changes/revisions were made in the next 8 years after 2012. Meanwhile, the cost of construction has been sky-rocketing! Giving due consideration to this aspect, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has now decided to increase the housing loan!
After conducting a detailed review on this issue, and as per the latest gathered information, the upper limit of the housing loan has been increased to Rs. 60 Lakhs from Rs. 40 Lakhs for the IAS/IPS cadre and the Tamil Nadu State Government Officers, this has been increased to Rs. 40 Lakhs from |Rs. 25 Lakhs.
