Second Chennai cricket test from today with 50% fans allowed for the first time

The first test between India and England took place a few days back at the fully empty M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk in Chennai was won by the England team is well known to us.

All roads would lead to this superb stadium in Chennai. Beginning from today, 13th February 2021, India would be up against England in the second test at the same ground in Chennai but this test would be different to the previous one. The stadium would not have an empty look this time around because the TN government has allowed 50% capacity at the ground during the match. The cricket crazy fans are thrilled and excited to watch the test at the stadium. The fans are also very cautious now regarding adherence to the safety measures for Covid-19 pandemic.

A cricket fan expressed his thoughts and spoke about how everybody is excited about the test match at the Chepauk stadium in Chennai. He mentioned that the fans must be cautious at the stadium and must follow Covid-19 rules without fail for their safety. In the end he hinted that more matches at this stadium would depend on the behaviour of the cricket fans plus on the adherence to the rules.

The information gathered is that I, J and k stands at the cricket stadium have been opened for the public and it would lead to reduction in the ticket rates. Going to the stadium and watching the cricket match live is totally a different feeling. This was revealed by another fan.

It was earlier brought out by TNCA that conditions needed to be followed strictly by the spectators during the second test match. It stated that wearing facemasks and covering mouth and nose was mandatory and important for the entry into the stadium. Those persons showing any symptoms like fever, cold, cough etc would be denied entry into the stadium.
