Recently, classes were conducted for the students of class12 in various schools in TN. It must be noted that the TN government was forced to shut down the schools for containing the second Covid-19 wave.
As per a senior officer belonging to the school education department, from 19th January onwards the schools have been re- opened for the students of class12. He highlighted that the portions were planned to be covered in most of the government as well as government aided schools in 3 months.
The online classes could not be conducted for these students just similar to the private institutions. It has been pointed out that the authorities have been planning to reopen the schools to conduct atleast revision classes for the students 15 to 20 days before board exams. This would help the students in preparing for the examinations.
The senior officer later spoke about how the TN government would be conducting the class12 board exams in the middle or last week of June month and how all safety aspects would be looked up at that time. It must be noted that the doubts of the students would be cleared by the teachers through mobile phones. At Least 20 days in advance, DGE would announce the exam schedule.
