Southern Railway to resume 10 special trains from 21st June!

Southern Railway has announced that it is scheduled to resume the services of 10 special trains from day-after-tomorrow (Monday, 21st June)!
With a clear downward trend being established on the extent/impact of the raging resurgent coronavirus spread, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin is earnestly reviewing the prospects of relaxations on the transport facilities!
Information in this regard is gathered that during the 1st Phase of the relaxation on transport, buses within the district will be allowed to operate.
In this scenario, Southern Railway has also announced its scheduled to operate 10 special trains from 20th June.
Trains from – Chennai Egmore to Thanjavur, Kollam, Rameswaram, and Trichy Stations – and from Chennai Central to Coimbatore, Alappuzha, Mettupalayam, etc., will be operated.
