Chennai: Rs. 1000/- Bus Season tickets will be valid until 15th July!

With the resumption of local bus services in 4 districts – Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvallur – being resumed today (Monday, 21st June), the Tamil Nadu State Minister for Transport Rajakannappan has explained that the Rs. 1000/- season ticket already procured by the passengers would be valid until 15th July.
Tamil Nadu State Transport Minister further informed:
“Identity proof is MANDATORY for differently-abled and the transgenders. Free bus tickets will be issued in 3 different colours to be availed by the differently-abled, transgenders, and women.
1792 buses are being operated in the Chennai Metro City. The bus service would continue up to 9.30- PM. The number of buses in service would be changed according to the public demand!”
