Changes in Chennai Metro Rail service timings on Sundays

The administration of the Chennai Metro Rail has released the changes in train timings on Sunday (27th June) increasing the interval between trains.
Accordingly, the Chennai Metro Rail service which operates from m7.00 AM to 9.00 PM, a train will be operated every one hour in the Wimconagar-Chennai Airport corridor and a train will be operated every 2 hours in the Chennai Central Airport & Chennai Central-St. Thomas Mount.
The Metro Rail services recommenced after the lockdown from Monday (21st June) with 50% passengers. It has been announced that during this restarting phase, trains will operate from 6.30 AM to 9.00 PM.
