TANGEDCO offers concession on payment of Electricity Bill for 11 Districts!

TANGEDCO (Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation) has offered a concession to its customers in 11 districts most affected by the raging resurgent cornea wave.
In a notification released in this regard by TANGEDCO, it is mentioned:
“In the districts severely affected by the resurgent raging corona wave, the electricity bill for the current month can be paid on the basis of the Previous Month Bill (calculation system known as PMC - Previous month consumption).
Accordingly, for the electricity bills due for payment in the period from 15th to 30th June, it is ok to pay the amount as per the last year June bill!
For the new customers, the consumers without an account and those consumers who think that the PMC is rather high can pay the amount as per April 2021 electricity bill.”
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CONCESSION IS APPLICABLE ONLY TO the districts of Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur, Nilgiri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagappattinam, and Mayiladuthurai.
