The services of 8 special trains which were stopped due to the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic are set to be resumed!
Different states all over the country imposed lockdown restrictions as a preventive measure to check/eradicate the spread of the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic.
As such, certain important trains were cancelled temporarily. However, as there has been a downward trend in the coronavirus pandemic spread and the situation has improved, an announcement has been released regarding the resumption of the cancelled train services.
On this accord, 8 special trains, including the Chennai-Tirupathi Special Trains are set to be resumed. The details:
- Tirupathi-Chennai special train (06204), operated daily, will resume service from 26th June.
- As the return leg of this journey, the special train from Chennai Central-Tirupathi (06203) is set to operate from 26th June.
- Bhavnagar-Kochuveli special train (09260) will operate from 29thy June on Thursdays.
- Kochuveli-Bhavnagar special train (09259) operating on Thursday will resume from 1st July.
Apart from the above, 4 more special trains are set to be resumed!
