New Medical Insurance coverage scheme for state government employees effective from today (1st July)!

The new medical insurance coverage scheme for the Tamil Nadu State Government Employees is effective from today (Thursday, 1st July 2021).
The rules and regulations and guidelines for this new medical insurance coverage for the Tamil Nadu State Government Employees have been released!
For this, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has joined with United India Insurance Company.
This new medical insurance scheme will be valid until 30th June 2025, that is, for 4 years’ period.
1169 hospitals have joined in this scheme and 203 categories of treatments are covered under the scheme.
