Domestic LPG Cooking Gas Cylinder price up!

It is a generally followed practice that whenever the price of crude oil goes up, the price of the domestic (household) LPG cooking gas price also goes up! As such, the price of the household LPG cooking gas cylinder has been increasing since last February!

The price of crude oil has shown an increasing trend in the international market. Right from last November, there has been a rising trend in the price of crude oil in the international market.

Due to this, the prices of petrol and diesel in India has been frequently raised! As such, the price of petrol in Chennai Metro City has touched Rs. 100/- per litre!! In fact, it has crossed Rs. 100/- in several districts in the State of Tamil Nadu!

Traditionally, the LPG cooking gas cylinder price goes up when there is an increase in the crude oil price in the international market. As such, the price of the household LPG cooking gas cylinder has been raising since last February!

The price was up by Rs. 25/- on 4th February and again up by Rs. 50/- on 15th February. It was again increased by Rs. 25/- on 25th February. Subsequently, the next increase was on 1st March, by Rs. 25/-!

It may be noted that the price of the household LPG Cooking Gas Cylinder up by Rs. 125/- within a month! The price was reduced by Rs. 10/- on 1st April.

In the above scenario, the price of the household LPG Cooking Gas Cylinder has gone up by Rs. 25/- all of a sudden from today (Thursday, 1st July)!

As such, they have increased the price after a gap of 3 months!

The price of the 14 kg household LPG Cooking Gas Cylinder has been increased by Rs. 25.50.

The price of the 14 kg cylinder was already up. 825/-! Now, it has become Rs. 850.50!

On a similar note, the price of the domestic 19 kg LPG Cooking Gas cylinder is up by Rs. 84.50! The Price before this stood at Rs. 1603/-. Now, it has gone up to Rs. 1685.50.

This continuous increase in the domestic LPG Cooking Gas Cylinder Price has caused a huge hardship among the housewives! Earlier, a subsidy was given for the LPG Cooking Gas Cylinders- this has also been stopped in recent times!
