Admissions commence for 25% quota for economically backward students in non-minority private schools!

Admissions commenced in non-minority private schools under the 25% quota reserved for the economically backward students under the Compulsory Free Education ACT.

Due to the raging 1st wave and the resurgent second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, ALL SCHOOLS AND ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS HAVE REMAINED CLOSED OVER THE LAST 1 YEAR!

Online classes are being conducted for the students instead.

In this scenario, admissions for economically backward students commenced in non-minority private schools as per the quota reserved under the Right to Compulsory Education ACT.

Admissions have started in 8446 schools in the state of Tamil Nadu online – website: www.rte.tnschools.gov.in.

The Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that the interested parents may apply for admissions in the private schools as per the 25% quota – with 1.20 Lakhs seats available until; 3rd August!
