Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has announced that the prevailing lockdown imposition has been extended until 19th July!
The prevailing lockdown imposition with the relaxations are set to conclude at 6.00 AM on 12th July.
In this situation, after considering the present extent/impact of the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic, and the need to keep it under check and maintain the downward trend, the prevailing lockdown imposition has been extended in all districts of the State of Tamil Nadu from 12th July until 6.00 AM on 19th July!
The extension of lockdown is with some more relaxations:
- Permission has been granted for the bakeries, eateries, hotels/restaurants and tea-shops to function UNTIL 9.00 AM WITH 50% CUSTOMERS!
- The prevailing ban on political gathering and cultural events continue!
- No permission is given for the resumption of private and public sector buses to operate between states!
- However, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has permitted the operation of buses from Tamil Nadu to Puducherry.
