Permission to conduct ONLINE classes: colleges may apply from today!

University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that academic institutions/colleges interested in conducting ONLINE classes can apply for the same from 15th July (Thursday).
In a notification released by UGC in this regard, it is mentioned:
“UGC has been granting permission to conduct ONLINE classes for higher education courses. As a part of this, presently, UGC has been granting permission to conduct ONLINE classes. As per this, some revisions have been undertaken in the prevalent ONLINE open-university and long-distance higher education academic courses.
As such, arrangements have been made that even other higher education institutions have also been permitted to commence/conduct ONLINE classes!
Accordingly, education institutes interested in conducting ONLINE classes for higher education can apply for permission from 15th July (Thursday).
UGC has further announced that any additional information on this can be accessed on the official; website of UGC.”
