In TN, results of class 12 will be announced on 19th July!!

The students as well as the parents of class 12 have been waiting eagerly for the class 12 board examination results in TN for quite some time now.
On Friday, 16th July 2021, the DGE or Directorate of Government Examinations announced that the results with marks of class12 students would be released on 19th July 2021 at 11 am in the morning. It is said that the results would be available online and the students would also get results through SMS on their mobile phones.
It must not be forgotten that in the state of Tamil Nadu due to the Covid-19 infection pandemic the class 12 board examinations were cancelled. There were confusions initially regarding the process that would be used in calculating the marks for class 12 students and the Tamil Nadu government had set up a committee to calculate the marks for the class 12 students. Truth is that the committee had decided that 50% weightage would be given to class10 public examination marks (average of top 3 subjects) 20% to class11 public examination and 30% to class 12 practical/internal marks for both practical and non-practical subject groups. On 31st of July 2021, CBSE would be announcing the results of class 12 students.
In its statement, DGE has mentioned that for the class 12 students of the academic year 2020-21 the results of public examinations would be announced on 19th July 2021 at 11 am. The class12 students would be able to know about their marks by entering their hall ticket number and date of birth details etc on the websites.

The class12 results would also be sent to the student mobile numbers. It is now mentioned that from 22nd July onwards the students could download their mark lists from the websites www.dge.tn.gov.in and www.dge.tn.nic.
