In TN, an optional examination again for the private students and those 12 students with low marks

The school education minister Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi has mentioned that those students who are not satisfied with the marks secured in the class 12 public examinations would be allowed to write optional exams again.

The minister expressed his thoughts in the press meeting on Monday. He spoke about how those 1656 students who have not gone to schools have been included in the list of those who have not written the public exams. He added that as many as39000 students who appeared privately haven’t cleared the examinations.

Arrangements would be made for the students who are not satisfied with their marks plus those private students to write examinations again in September or in October months. Coronavirus infection spread issue plus on the instructions of the chief minister exams would be organised in TN.

This time, decimal has been given importance in the marks. It must be noted that to avoid competition from many students getting the same marks the decimal marks have been included for the first time. For the students belonging to class 10, an ‘all pass’ marks certificate would be issued.

In this academic year, more than one lakh students have been admitted additionally to the government schools in TN. It is learnt that under the Compulsory Education Rights, in the private schools under 25 percent reservation till Monday 36,000 have applied. The last date to apply is 3rd August. It is known that CBSE has splitted the academic year into 2 parts. It is now brought out that the school education department has not decided to split the academic year.
