Heavy rains in the Northern States: Several trains from Chennai cancelled!

Due to the persistent downpour of heavy rains in the Northern States and the subsequent flooding, several trains starting from South India has been cancelled.
In several northern states including Bihar, Assam, In West Bengal, and Maharashtra, there have been heavy rains since last week. As such, flooding has occurred in several areas as well as landslides in some areas!
The railway stations and the tracks are flooded - the tracks being totally submerged. As such, several trains to the northern states have been cancelled. Some other trains are operated in a different route.
In this situation, over 30 trains starting from Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu to the northern states have been cancelled. Timings are changed for some trains and the routes are changed for some other trains.
