There are some special concessions offered in the State of Tamil Nadu exclusively for the students who join colleges (after completing +2) being the first person in the family to pursue a graduation course!
To get this ‘1st Graduate in the family’ certificate, no one else should be a graduate among the members of the family!
Relatives such as father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, elder brother or elder sister in the family MUST NOT BE GRADUATES!
However, for the younger brothers and sisters who are studying, it is no issue!
Documents required
- Passport-size photo
- Family Ration Card
- Aadhar card
- Transfer Certificate
- Mark List
- Caste/Income certificate
- 1st Graduate Bond paper
Academic qualification certificates of all other members in the family
Applying Procedure
- Log in to the website: https://www.tnesevai.tn.gov.in/
- Click the option – ‘Revenue department’
- Select the option - first graduate certificate
- A new page will open.
- Click the register number.
- Those who do not have the Register the number may enter the names of self and father and get this registration number.
- Give the cell phone number and receive the OTP (One-Time-Password).
- Enter the OTP and select the option ‘Proceed’.
- Now, the application form for the ‘1st graduate Certificate’ will appear on the screen.
- Now, fill the form clear and straight.
- Scan the required documents and upload them.
- A ‘self-declaration form’ will appear.
- Take a print of this, fill it up, scan the filled form and upload.
- Pay the required fee ONLINE (Rs. 60/-).
- Now, SMS will be received on the cell phone.
- The status of the application can be seen from this.
- Once the documents given are checked and verified, you can download the ‘1st Graduate Certificate’!
