An important announcement has come out now from the police department!!
It has been revealed by the Chennai police commissioner, Mr. Shankar Jaiswal that the house owners must compulsorily submit all the details of their tenants. The details including name, photograph, tenant’s permanent address, previous address of the tenant must be filled up on the application forms and must be submitted to the nearby police stations.
It is worthy to mention that the agreement between the house owners and their tenants need not be given to the police stations. Details about the tenants would be kept secretly and safely. It is now said that these details of the tenants would be registered in the computer. Point is that these details would be registered at the deputy commissioner’s office plus in the commissioner office in the intelligence department and in the criminal archives department. Details of those tents from other states or from foreign nations must be given compulsorily for registration.
