Celebration of Vinayaka Chaturthi : Stringent monitoring on guidelines in Chennai Metro City

With the recent perceptible gradual reduction of the raging first and resurgent coronavirus epidemic, various relaxations have been allowed.
Still, the government is cautious to insist on all the precautionary guidelines - as such, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has imposed a ban on the celebration of Vinayaka Chathurthi in public spaces!
In this regard, the Chennai Metro City Police Commissioner Sankar Jiwal has announced that STRINGENT LEGAL ACTION WILL BE IMMEDIATELY INITIATED ON THE CITIZENS WHO VIOLATE THE BAN ON CELEBRATION IN PUBLIC PLACES!
Further, the Chennai Metro City Police Commissioner has announced that safety arrangements will be set up as already announced by the State Government of Tamil Nadu.
