Time extended until 30th November to fill up the vacant seats to admit the first engineering courses!

An extension of time has been granted until 30th November to fill up the vacant posts in the admission to the 1st year of engineering courses offered by engineering colleges.

For the students who had passed the 12th Standard, the admission to graduate courses of Arts and Science has been completed and the classes have commenced functioning with direct classes from 15th October.

As regard engineering courses, the admissions are completed in the private deemed university engineering courses and the regular classes have commenced.

As regard Anna University and its affiliated Engineering Colleges, and some private engineering colleges, students have been admitted through online counselling.

In this scenario, permission has been given to fill up the vacant seats in the private engineering colleges before 30th November. This permission has been granted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Further, AICTE has instructed that all the Universities/Colleges of Engineering/Technology MUST commence regular classes for the integrated courses. Also, regular classes for the 1st year engineering course students MUST have commenced by 30th November.
