New Depression Zone formed! Warning very heavy rains issued to Tamil Nadu!

FISHERMEN HAVE BEEN WARNED THAT AS A NEW DEPRESSION ZONE IS FORMING OVER THE BAY OF BENGAL, THE SEA IN THESE AREAS WILL BE STORMY!

Further, it has been informed that the sea will be turbulent in Nothern Tamil Nadu coastal areas and there will be high waves of 2.5 metres to 3.3 metres in height.

Apart from Tamil Nadu, the sea will be stormy in the coastal areas of the States of Karnataka and Kerala. Fishermen have been warned NOT to venture into the sea in the southwest and the central-west Bay of Bengal!

Because of the persistent heavy rains in Chennai, rainfalls registered in Chennai is a maximum of 6 cm and in Puzhal, 4 cm rainfall has been recorded.

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has further informed that 4 cm of rainfall has been recorded in Villivakkam and Nandanam, Anna University, and West Tambaram, a rainfall of 4 cm has been recorded.

Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that a new depression zone is set to be formed over the southeast Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours!

Indian Meteorological Department has further informed that the depression zone is likely to intensify and may drift towards North Tamil Nadu on 11th November and because of the depression zone, there are prospects for very heavy rains in the next 5 days in Tamil Nadu!
