Just recently, Chennai and its suburbs had very heavy rains and it made the lives of people very difficult. The rain water entered many houses and people were shifted to safer places are well known to us. The above said very heavy rains were because of the north east monsoons.
The low pressure that formed near Bay of Bengal and low pressure that formed near Andaman Sea crossed Chennai coast. This led to continuous rains in many places in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu. People were forced to stay inside their houses due to very heavy rains.
For the last 2 days, things have changed with sunshine and lesser rains and people are coming back to their usual lives once again. It has been announced that there would be very heavy rains in Chennai from 26th of November for a period of 4 days. Today evening, there would be heavy rains in some localities belonging to Chennai and tomorrow and then onwards the rains would reduce.
On Wednesday, there would not be rains and on Thursday there would be rains in Chennai. It is learnt that from Friday onwards for another 4 days there would be very heavy rains again in Chennai.
