GCC: Garbage not removed? You may complain to the police

Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has announced that in case the garbage is not being removed from the garbage bins in the 15 zones in Chennai Metro City under GCC, the public may complain!
For the 15 zones in Chennai Metro City under the Greater Chennai Corporation, garbage is being removed by GCC staff in the zones Tondiarpettai, Royapuram, Thiru. Vi. Ka. Nagar, Ambattur, and Anna Nagar.
For the zones in Teynampet, Kodambakkam, Vaasarawakam, Alandur, Adyar, Perungudi, and Sholinganallur, a private company has been contracted to remove the garbage.
To collect the garbage in 15 zones, there are 14216 compactor garbage bins and there are 261 compactor vehicles to remove them. Presently, the details of the timings for the operation of the compactor vehicles and the locations where the garbage is removed, etc., have been uploaded on the website: https://chennaicorporation.gov.in/gcc/swm for the benefit of the public.
As such, the public can know the details of the compactor vehicles.
As above, if the garbage is not being removed as per the timetable and other details on the above website, the public can complain to help-line number 1913.
Action will be taken.
