Students without corona vaccine administration WILL NOT BE permitted in colleges!

Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for Health M. Subramanian has informed (on Friday, 9th December) all the colleges in Tamil Nadu HENCEFORTH WILL NOT PERMIT THE STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT BEEN ADMINISTERED WITH THE DOUBLE VACCINE FOR CORONAVIRUS!

With the latest variant of the coronavirus, Omicron, spreading fast and wide in several countries, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has initiated several stringent measures as a precautionary effort.

Meanwhile, 9 students of Anna University have been confirmed of the coronavirus infection! It has been further confirmed that these students ARE NOT AFFECTED WITH OMICRON VARIANT!

In this scenario, the officials of the Departments of Health and Education gathered for a review meeting headed by the Tamil Nadu State Health Minister in this regard today (Friday, 10th December).

After this meeting, the State Health Minister had a session with the press reporters. He shared:

“No cultural programmes will be performed in all colleges until the next Government Order in this regard. If other events are to be held, note that PRIOR PERMISSION HAS TO BE OBTAINED!  Students will not be allowed to eat food together as a cluster.

Further, it is MANDATORY FOR ALL COLLEGE STUDENTS ABOVE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO BE ADMINISTERED WITH THE DOUBLE DOSE OF CORONAVIRUS VACCINATION! Special vaccination camps are also to be conducted in colleges!”
