New Helpline Number: To complain when medicines are sold without Doctors Prescription!

Based on information received that MEDICINES WHICH ARE TO BE SOLD ONLY ON DOCTOR’S PRESCRIPTION ARE BEING SOLD WITHOUT DOCTOR’S PRESCRIPTION TO SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS AS INTOXICATING DRUGS, special inspection visits were carried out in the districts of Chengalpattu, Thiruvannamalai, Thanjavur, Salem, Vellore, and Thirupathur.
The Drug Addiction Prevention Intelligence Section of the Police Department has released a warning on this issue that THESE MEDICINES MUST NOT BE SOLD WITHOUT PROPER DOCTOR’S PRESCRIPTION
It is further informed that these sudden inspection visits may be carried out in future as well!
The State Drug Intelligence Wing of the Police Department has appealed that in case these continue to be sold without a doctor’s prescription, this violation of regulations can complain about the helpline number 10581on phone or the WhatsApp number 949810581.
