Advance booking for Mariyaan commences yesterday

Mariyaan is a much awaited film which has Dhanush and Parvathy of Poo fame in the lead roles. This film which has been produced by Aascar Ravichandran has been directed by Bharath Bala. A R Rahman has composed the music for this film. The advance booking for Mariyaan commenced yesterday at major theatres all over Tamil Nadu including Auro 3D screens. The film tells the story of human survival and is partially adapted from a real-life crisis event which took place in 2008. The story happens in Sudan in a very rough terrain. While the first half of the film is set there, the next half is set in Kanyakumari.
