No need for corona vaccination proof for travel in suburban trains :Southern Railway

An order had been released earlier that it was MANDATORY to the passengers in the Chennai Metro City Sunrban Train Services to keep the proof for the double dose of anti-corona vaccination.

In this situation, Southern Railways have now announced that from the 1st of February, IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO KEEP PROOF OF THE DOUBLE DOSE OF ANTI-CORONA VACCINATION!

In a notification released by the Southern Railways in this regard, it is mentioned:

“Following the Tamil Nadu State Government Order on 27th January with the various restrictions on coronavirus pandemic withdrawn, the mandatory rule imposed for the suburban train passengers in Chennai Metro City to keep proof of double-dose anti-corona vaccine administration will be withdrawn from the 1st February!

As per this, the Southern Railways have announced that while the passengers buy tickets for travel in the Chennai Metro City Suburban train services, they need not have to show proof of the double-dose anti-corona vaccine administration!”

Further, Southern Railways have announced that the UTS Mobile App (Urban Train Services App to be used in mobile phones) will resume services.

Meanwhile, the passengers are earnestly advised to follow the usual norms of wearing facial masks and also observe the norm of adhering to the Social Distance!
