The fight against the Coronavirus pandemic is not yet over and cases are getting reported!!

The intensity of Coronavirus third infection wave has been coming down now after it reached its peak in the middle of January. Many restrictions have been relaxed now for the sake of the public.

Taking the students` future into consideration, the schools have resumed once again from 1st February onwards and students have been learning with great interest in the direct physical classes. All the Covid-19 protocols are being followed in the schools. Night curfew that was on Sundays has been removed now.

The urban local body elections would take place on 19th of February 2022 across the state of Tamil Nadu is well known. This has been announced after 3 long years. For the sake of the upcoming elections in TN, political parties would be involved in public meetings and election campaigning would be going on. It must be noted that there might be chances that those who are involved in these public meetings campaigning etc might not follow the Covid-19 rules like wearing facemasks and maintaining physical distance etc. This might lead to an increase in the Coronavirus cases in Tamil Nadu. The Coronavirus infection and the Omicron variant have been coming down now in Tamil Nadu but in South Africa Neocov and Omicron sub-variant BA. 2 virus cases have been identified.

It was mentioned by WHO or World Health Organisation that these are spread even much faster from one person to another person and are dangerous. There are chances of increase in the Coronavirus infection after the urban local body elections in Tamil Nadu. Therefore, tough restrictions or strict lockdowns might be imposed once again by the government. Point is that the public must be very careful in the next 2 weeks. This was according to the health department.
