Sudden cancellation of this important announcement for the students of classes 3 to 8 in TN!!

Earlier, it was announced by the Tamil Nadu government that on 26th February that the day would be observed as ‘no book bag day’ for the students of classes 3 to 8 and it made sensational news.. Now, this has been cancelled by the government for these school students.
It must be noted that on ‘no book bag day’ the government has planned to provide breakfast and give gifts and an amount of Rs 1.2 crores was allotted. The government also planned to educate these students about life education on this particular day. Various other activities that were supposed to take place on this day were maintaining terrace gardens, cultivation of herbal plants etc. This was according to the school education department.
It is now brought out that the government of Tamil Nadu has cancelled this day that was supposed to be observed as ‘no book bag’ day for the students. The school education department has mentioned that the schools have reopened for the students from February only. The students have been learning to compensate for the lost classes plus to improve the learning skills of the students, the day would not be observed as ‘no book bag’ day on 26th February.
