The procedure to apply for writing TET - Teachers Eligibility Test 2022

Lakhs of candidates who had completed +2 and then the Teachers’ Training Course were eagerly expecting the announcement for the date of the Teachers’ Eligibility Test!

In this scenario, the Teachers’ Recruitment Board (TRB) has informed that interested candidates may apply for writing the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) Papers I & II for the year 2022 from 14th March until 13th April.

Details:

Name of the Examination: Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET)

Academic Qualifications:

Question Paper-I: 
Candidates MUST have passed +2 Public Examinations studying from any of the government-approved schools and MUST have also completed the 2-years’ Teachers Training Course.

Question Paper-II: 
Candidates MUST have completed a graduate course in any faculty in government institutions or government-approved institutions.

Age Limit: 
Candidates MUST be of minimum 18 years of age and there is no maximum limit for age.

Application Fee: 
Candidates from the General or Common Cadre, MBC, and BC communities have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/-. SC/ST. Ancient Tribe candidates MUST pay Rs. 250/- as application fee.

Selection Procedure: 
Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in the Teachers’ Eligibility Test!

Date of Examination (TET): 
Paper-I will be conducted on 27th June and Paper-II on 28th June.  It is informed that the detailed official order about this will be released later.
