Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission undertakes the responsibility for the vacancies of various posts in the different departments of the State Government of Tamil Nadu by conducting different categories of written examinations and interviews.
TNPSC had recently released an announcement for filling up more than 5000 vacant posts in the categories Group-2 and Group-2A ( posts with interviews and posts without interviews).
The registration for Group-2 and Group-2A examinations commenced on 23rd February. It was announced that the registrations can be done until 23rd March.
These Group-2 & Group-2A examinations are to be conducted for recruitments for the 5143 vacancies for the posts of Assistants, Junior Clerk, Shorthand typists, etc.
The preliminary examination is scheduled for 21st May. For the posts with interviews, the Main Examination and interview will be conducted after the results of the preliminary examination are announced.
In this situation, TNPSC has announced that if any of the candidates had made mistakes in the submitted applications, they may correct the same from 14th March to 23rd March.

The list of candidates is taken from those who had done registration once. To make corrections in these data, the candidate has to first visit the OTR (One-Time-Registration), go to the option ‘EDIT PROFILE and then make the corrections required and save.
Further, the candidate has to go to the EDIT option on the application and make the required corrections, finally save it, and take a copy of the corrected registration data.
Candidates who had already paid the Examination Fee need not pay again.
