Indian Oil Corporation has announced that Digital receipts will be given for delivery/payment of Indane Gas.
In a notification released by the Southern Region Chief General Manager of the Indian Oil Corporation, it is mentioned:
“In Coimbatore, the Indane LPG Cooking Gas Cylinder customers are presently issued a paper receipt for the delivery and payment. This system is being changed and henceforth, a digital receipt will be given.
This change is one of the various measures undertaken by the Indian Oil Corporation under the effort “Let Us March towards Green!” to reduce paper usage!
This system has been implemented in the cities of Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Ranchi, and Surat from 10th March!
The Indian Oil Corporation Indane Customers can receive the receipts as SMS (Short Message Service) on the smartphone number given on registration OR they can visit the website: https://cx.indianoil.in and get the receipt.
Note that the customers have to pay for the cylinder only AFTER the price is announced. In case the customer is interested in the old form of receipt, they can inform through the ‘Indian Oil One’ App OR ELSE, they can inform the distributor of their preference and obtain the receipt!”
