Department of Education emphasizes the need not be too strict while correcting answer sheets (Public Examinations)!

Due to the raging spread of the coronavirus waves 1 & 2, the Public Examinations for the final years of school students were not conducted in the last 2 years in the State of Tamil Nadu.
In this situation, as the corona intensity came down slowly, examinations were conducted for all classes.
To be more specific, the Public Examinations for the students of the 10th, 11th, & 12th Standards were conducted as planned!
- The Public Examinations for the 12th Standard students commenced on 5th May and concluded on 28th May.
- The Public Examinations for the 10th Standard Students commenced on 6th May and concluded on 30th May.
- The Public Examinations for the 11th Standard students commenced on 9th May and concluded day-before-yesterday (Wednesday, 1st June).
In this scenario, the activity of correcting the answer sheets for the above public examinations commenced yesterday (Tuesday, 31st May). The activity of correcting the answer sheets for the 11th Standard Students (whose Public Examinations concluded day-before-yesterday – Wednesday, 31st May) will commence on 9th June.
In this scenario, the Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has emphasized that the teachers need not be too strict while correcting the answer sheets!
Further, the Department of School Education insisted that full marks can be given for the answer in case the answers are correct to a good extent! As such, the Department of School Education has given the green flag to the correcting teachers to correct liberally!
This has delighted the students to a great extent!
- The results of the 10th Standard Public Examinations are to be released on 17th June!
- The results of the 11th Standard Public Examinations are to be released on 7th July!
- The results of the 12th Standard Public Examinations are to be released on 23rd June!
