Cancellation of express trains in Chennai - Know the latest?

The news that has come out is that the train number 12606 Karaikudi - Chennai Egmore Express leaving Karaikudi at 5:05 am and train number 12635 Chennai Egmore - Vaigai Superfast express train leaving Egmore at 13:40 hours on 22nd of June 2022 would be partially cancelled between Chengalpet and Chennai. The reason for the cancellation is due to a line block permitted at Tambaram yard between 9:55 am and 13:55 pm.
It is revealed that the train number22403 Puducherry- New Delhi Express train that leaves Puducherry at 9:55 am on 22nd of June 2022 would be moving through or diverted through Chengalpet, Arakkonam, Perambur and Korukkupet. The train would not stop at Chennai Egmore.
