Superb record made in engineering admissions in TN following CBSE class 12 results!!

The results of class12 CBSE were released just recently in TN. Now, the superb news is that enrolment of students for engineering courses in TN has crossed 2lakhs after the results. It is known that July 19th was initially fixed as the last date for registration to TNEA 2022.
Many parents belonging to CBSE class 12 students have requested for extension of the last date and as per the requests plus considering the future of CBSE class 12 students TNEA registration was extended by 5 days from the date of announcement of CBSE class12 results.
It was brought out by a senior officer belonging to the DOTE that the certificate verification must have been completed by this time as per the original schedule. He added that the whole admission activities have been changed as the results of class 12 CBSE were announced late.
Till 6pm on Tuesday, 26th July 2022, as many as 2071361 students have enrolled for engineering admissions and out of those 149369 students have paid their registration fees and uploaded their certificates also.
On 22nd July 2022, CBSE class12 results were declared and after the results more than 10000 students have registered for the engineering courses. Now additional 5000 students were expected to enrol in the engineering courses as the last date for registration has been extended to 27th July 2022. Certificate verification process would start from 28th July onwards and it would go for another 10 days.
The senior officer revealed that the merit list would be released accordingly after scrutinising all the applications of the students. It must be taken into note that the new admission notification would be released and it would be uploaded on the TNEA portal.
Just similar to last year, even in this year the TNEA admissions would be completely online and it includes registration, payments, choice filling, allotment and confirmation etc.
