Over 100 fire accident calls within a year

There is a stunning report from the Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services (TNFRS). According to their report, over hundred fire emergency calls were made in the year 2012 alone. From T Nagar, there were 200 calls on the whole out of which about 44 were related to fire accidents.
The two areas – NSC Bose Road and Purasawalkam stand on the second and third place in the number of calls with 38 and 25 calls respectively. However, most of these are minor fire accidents only.
