AIADMKs iftar party in Chennai

Tamil Nadu chief minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa has arranged for an iftar party in Chennai on August 5.
The party will be held in the evening at Hotel Le Royal Meridien in the city, said a press release from AIADMK headquarters. Muslim cadres, office-bearers of party headquarters, districts, and ministers, leaders of allies, MLAs, MPs, corporation mayors and board chairpersons have been invited to attend the event.
The chief minister, who left for her hill retreat, Kodanad estate on June 21, will not be present. "She has arranged it for the party," the release said.
