Deepam festival Preparatory events at the Thiruvannamalai temple!

The world-famous `Deepam` Festival at the Lord Arunchaleswarar temple at Thiruvannamalai is set to commence this year with the divine flag-hoisting ceremony on 17th November.
Deepam Festival is set to conclude on 6th December at 6.00 PM when the Maha Deepam will be lit on the top of the 2668` mountain of Thiruvannamalai.
To commence all the preparatory activities for the grand Deepam festival occasion, `Pandhakkal Muhurtham` was performed today morning (Friday, 30th September) with the chanting of Vedas and mantras!
