According to an official belonging to GCC, availability of space and OSR lands were the 2 important factors that were considered for the setting up of parks. Localities like Kodambakkam and Teynampet belonging to the central GCC zone were not considered for the parks due to the above said 2 factors. As per the deadline that has been mentioned in the contract, the works would get completed and this was according to an official.
